Our Privacy Policy explains the types of information we collect from you, how it is used and to whom it may be disclosed.

Can-Survive recognizes that some of the information which we request from you on the website is very sensitive. We will take such steps as are reasonably necessary to safeguard the privacy of any personal information that you provide to us.

If you are a volunteer

To become a Telephone Volunteer we request that you provide us with your name, address, email address, telephone number, the type of cancer or life-threatening which you have had, the date on which it was diagnosed and the treatment which you received. We use that information to help us to confirm you conform to our guidelines, namely, that you have been diagnosed as having the disease you claim to have been diagnosed with by a medically–qualified practitioner in good standing with an accredited college.

We will not disclose that information to any third parties without your consent, except in the rare circumstances identified above.

If you make a donation

If you make a donation to Can-Survive® on-line, the information, which you provide such as your credit card details and credit card expiry date, may be provided to our payment-processing merchant to allow the donation to proceed. That information is not disclosed to any other third party, nor is it used for any other purpose.

If there is any information that we hold about you which you would like to update, or which is incorrect or incomplete, please contact us via email or by telephone.

Our website may use cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your computer to identify visitors to our website.
